The kids made the traditional Gingerbread house again this year.  Big change was that the whole thing was made from scratch, not a kit, and so it tasted a whole lot better.

With some real snow outside at Christmas, and 8 kids at home there was, of course a snowball fight.

And after you build it, you smash it.

Kids put up the Christmas tree on the landing. Must be getting to that time of year again.

We re-did the kitchen, going from a dark wood to a lighter paint finish with good surfaces and proper lighting.  Kids also had fun drawing on the surfaces behind the cupboards.

Christmas Day and we woke up to snow!  Very unusual for this time of year in Alabama.  Didn't stop the opening of presents.

Fleur looked after Ashwin for a couple of days.  Kids all had a great time playing with him.
